K&M Advisors is a technical and financial advisory firm that has been a leader and a pioneer on the development of power generation projects for 29 years. During this time, K&M has been the lead advisor on 18 Independent Power Producer (IPP) transactions that reached financial closure.  Some of these were the first IPP transactions in the host countries which led the way in introducing private participation and pioneering project-finance structures for power projects—examples include: Hub Power (Pakistan 1,200 MW), Phu My 2.2 (Vietnam 715 MW), Mamonal (Colombia 100 MW), and many others. Since its foundation, K&M has offered rigorous and practical advice on the engineering of power generation projects. The firm has been responsible for EPC procurement, design review, site-based construction supervision, and technical due diligence of more than 45 power generation projects with a total capacity in excess of 15,000 MW.
