The Shavano Conservation District is a political subdivision of the State of Colorado Department of Agriculture organized under CRS35-70-101.  The District serves as the grassroots leadership to the Natural Resource Conservation Service in the protection and conservation of our natural resources by making available technical, financial and educational resources and focus so that they meet the needs of local landowners with conservation of soil, water, and related natural resource projects.
