Dating back over 50 years, the extraordinary Timberpeg® designs you see on this website come from humble beginnings. One man had a vision to build homes that blended harmoniously with the countryside. He began fulfilling this vision by handcrafting his own home out of a stand of white pine trees in Hartland, Vermont in 1963. The original home was a log home and it was 1972 when the same man began designing and reviving energy efficient timber frame homes.
