We are the Municipality of Princeton, NJ.
Princeton has a population of approximately 30,000 and covers an area of 18.1 square miles in the heart of central New Jersey. It is composed of the former Township of Princeton and Borough of Princeton, which consolidated in 2013 and is now known as the Municipality of Princeton. It is home to a diverse population, a vibrant historic downtown and several major educational institutions. Beyond the downtown core, the surrounding landscape includes Princeton’s mostly wooded neighborhoods, one shopping center, several retail areas of smaller size, several office research and service areas and a large amount of preserved open space.  
 
Princeton’s housing stock is diverse, consisting of single-family homes in a wide variety of sizes and price points, duplexes and several apartment buildings. Its well-regarded affordable housing program comprises about 10 percent of Princeton’s housing units.
