Located in southern lower Michigan, the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities (CBPU) is the local public power provider of more than 11,000 residents, and is a member of American Municipal Power (AMP) and the Michigan South Central Power Agency (MSCPA).  The CBPU operates electric generation/distribution, water, wastewater and communications utility services.
