Job Description:

Quality Assurance Manager
Ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years prior experience in quality assurance/quality control; strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills as well as proven project and management skills.  Bachelor’s degree preferred; CQE and/or SQSE certification helpful.
Requirements:
  • Ensure the department performs inspections on incoming materials and finished products.
  • Work with all departments as related to quality assurance and quality control issues. .
  • Responsible for all facets of manufacturing to ensure processes and procedures are in place to meet specifications.
  • Coordinate issues with customer service, engineering, operations, and Sales/Marketing with regards to CE, corrective actions regulatory demands, etc.
  • Provide leadership to Quality Assurance/Control organization.
  • Participate in development and improvement of the mfg processes for existing and new products.
  • Develop, review, and approve documentation related to ISO 9000, certificates of analysis, compliance and other related issues.
  • Implement related quality work instructions and procedures where necessary.
  • Provide training to the Quality and Production staff. 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. CQE and/or SQSE certification helpful.
  • Minimum 5 years prior experience in quality assurance/quality control
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Proven project and management skills
  • Must be able to read blue prints
  • Must be able to use and calibrate measuring devices, scales and gauges
  • Knowledge of SPC and Process Performance studies required
  • Familiarity with injection molding operations preferred
  • Ability to work in team environment and interact effectively with management at all levels.
