*** SEEKING A STRUCTURAL ENGINEER FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE ***

DCP, LLC is a growing engineering firm based in Broomfield, Colorado.  We provide foundation and framing plans for all things residential.  From a small 1,000 sf ranch to large 10,000 sf custom homes, from decks to gazebos, additions, and remodels, we do it all.  We also provide on-site construction observations and support for all our projects.
We are looking for a Colorado registered PE or SE for immediate hire.  This position would entail following projects from inception to completion, providing appropriate level of engineering and support along the way.  Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
            -creating construction documents for each project: framing schematics, framing details, foundation plans, etc.
            -visiting ongoing projects for quality control observations
            -visiting new projects to determine scope of work and following through with construction documents and communications
            -troubleshooting problems on site and creating repairs

Qualified candidates will be expected to communicate with clients and other design professionals to coordinate project scope, required engineering documents and provide support during construction.  Candidates should:
            -Be a registered PE or SE in Colorado
            -Have a B.S. in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
            -Be proficient with concrete, steel, and wood design of structural members
            -Be familiar with soils reports, soil characteristics and design principles
            -Have their own transportation and be willing to travel locally for various site visits
            -Be proficient with AutoCAD
            -Have experience with spreadsheets, word processors, etc
Construction experience is highly valuable.  Candidates must be detail oriented, have a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills, and be able to adapt to new situations and projects as they arise.
