Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Engineer opportunity include:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Control, Chemistry, Business, or related field with 7+ years of experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment
- In lieu of degree, minimum 10+ years of quality management experience, plus quality certification
- Skilled in customer interaction and conflict resolution, adept at appeasing customers and handling on-site situations promptly and effectively
- Previous experience with administering an ISO 9001:2015 program
- Experience with coil processing, sheet fabrication (cutting, punching, forming), and aluminum processing
- Knowledge of coatings (especially coil painting) for the Commercial Transportation Industry, with a preference for candidates with distribution business experience
- Oversee the ISO program, manage quality processes from initiation to completion, lead quality audits, and address quality issues through direct communication with suppliers and customers
- Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing and business processes, analyze performance metrics, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) documentation

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
