Job Description:

The position is responsible for full technical and engineering for cost effective planning, design, installation, and maintenance of all equipment and supporting systems, to achieve the site’s operational goals and objectives.

 

Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Working with maintenance and facilities teams, to develop and maintain maintenance procedures, specifications, and documentation.
  • Ownership for developing and maintaining maintenance procedures for toxic gas monitoring systems (TGMS).
  • Work closely with building manager to carry out risk assessments, develop corrective actions and initiate implementation plans.
  • Coordinate installation projects with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain records for process equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and health and safety standards.
  • Responsible for the building automation system
  • Work closely with facilities team to maintain and improve the building automation system.
  • Develop and implement appropriate maintenance procedures for process equipment.
  • Determining facility and equipment specifications.
  • Working knowledge of hazardous waste operations including treatment, storage, and disposal as well as safe handling.

 

In addition to the essential functions and duties listed above, all positions are also responsible for:

  • Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that follows all Company policies and procedures.
  • Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.

Physical Activities:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb and work on a ladder.
  • Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
  • Must be capable of performing duties in a cleanroom garment.
  • Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, etc., as the job may require.
  • Ability to obtain certification and wear respiratory protection

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S Citizen

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in similar position

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology and 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Project management.
  • AutoCAD.
  • MS Office.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge of gas monitoring safety systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of building automation systems and software preferred.
  • Semiconductor process tools and associated facilities preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and code requirements preferred.
  • Knowledge of the building process and construction principles preferred.

 

Other:

  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • On-call 24 hours.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Driver license required.
