Takeda in Los Angeles (Glendale) is looking for a Sr. Facilities Engineer (Utilities / HVAC / Refrigeration) to help with our Fractionation expansion set to complete in 2025.
              
About the role:
You will report to Associate Director, Facility Engineering. Design, developing, cost-effective projects and technologies for our fractionation expansion. For a full job description, please follow this link below but here’s a quick snapshot:

1. Act independently with minimal supervision to conduct smaller approved projects. Expected to make suggestions on improvements based on recent technical knowledge.
2. Accept ownership of Critical Utilities, and to be known as SME for related areas.
3. Review process and support equipment and systems design drawings and documents.
4. Must be familiar with plant and divisional SOPs as related to positional and department responsibilities.
5. Utilize engineering tools to solve problems (FMEA, Process modeling, design of experiments, SPC, etc.)
6. Must follow safety rules and ensure compliance with LA City, CA state and federal EPA regulations and laws.
7. Ability to manage routine small projects without assistance.
8. Drive Energy Optimization projects.
9. Investigate and analyze customer service problems and design improvement suggestions. Recommend design improvements.
