Evergreen Engineering, Inc. seeks a Civil/Structural Professional Engineer to join their team remotely in the vicinity of Lewiston, ID. As a Civil/Structural Professional Engineer, you will primarily work on structural engineering and design for industrial buildings and non-building structures, foundations, equipment support structures, condition assessments, and structural restoration projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Develop structural designs and details for steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures.
• Perform field investigation of existing conditions.
• Develop structural calculation packages for permitting and client review.
• Prepare design documents for drafting and oversee drawing development.
• Complete structural condition assessment reports.
• Oversee and direct the drafting of construction drawings.
• Mentor and review the work of non-licensed civil-structural engineers.
• Regularly visit client’s sites near Lewiston, ID to consult on structural projects and support project managers in that area.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a directly related discipline required.
• Professional Engineering license in at least one U.S. state with the ability to obtain licensure in other states required.
• 6+ years of structural engineering work experience (industrial experience highly desired) preferred.
• Must live within a 2-hour drive from Lewiston, ID and be willing and able to travel to Lewiston and the surrounding region for client site visits.
• Well-rounded steel and concrete engineering design skills.
• Fluency with the International Building Code structural provisions and referenced structural standards (ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318, etc.).
• Ability to generate engineering sketches and supervise/direct drawing generation.
• Effective communication and impromptu problem-solving skills.
