Sr. Quantity Surveyor

Estimate the Cost and Quantity of all items necessary for the Project

Responsible for review of Client bills prepared at site and adding value to bills. Advising & billing for extra-items/Non-BOQ items / claims.

Assist the Project Head (Site) in reconciliation of bills related to material quantity/costs.

Monitor day to day work progress and prepare the weekly and monthly program and report.

Maintain and record update on site work progress obtained from Project Manager.

Prepares monthly report reflecting work progress summary.

Report to the Project Manager about the current work progress and make comparison between plan and actual progress and study impact of alternative approaches to work.

Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Client as required.

Calculating Optimal Material requirement, Manpower Requirement (of various trades) & Machinery Requirement.

Plan for budget required for the project and create various budget heads to document and monitor the expenses.

 Co-ordinate with various departments like Engineering (who provides working drawings), Procurement (who buys materials), Contracts (who awards contracts & raise any issues with the client), quality (who maintains) & Commissioning Departments.
