SJS Executives, LLC (SJS), also doing business as SJS Industrial, is currently seeking a Drafter supporting construction operations within a local healthcare facility.  SJS is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with 150 employees coast to coast and a headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia; it specializes in professional services to support federal and military organizations. Responsibilities: Combine existing site and building As-Builts with new project As-Builts to maintain 1 complete record drawing set.Prepare civil-structural plan and detail drawings for above grade support structures and below grade foundation details.Work with in-house Drafter to validate and correct existing As-BuiltsPerform drawing and field verifications.Implement structural design information from Engineers.Ensure projects adhere to the established schedule.Read, understand and apply standard to complex documents affecting construction project, including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, work letters, project charters, surveys, and drawings. Requirements: Graduate of a college drafting curriculum two (2) year degree minimum.At least five (5) years of experience performing drafting for design and construction projects.Proficiency in AutoDesk systems including AutoCAD and REVIT.Ability to communicate orally and in writing.Full knowledge of engineering and architectural concepts, principles, and practices for the design, layout, and construction of medical facilities, associated buildings, parking, roadways, and site utilities.Experience with ADA compliant construction, remodeling, and renovationsMust be able to successfully pass a drug test and a thorough background check for access onto a military installation; please note the background check for this position extends past 7 years, in conformance with federal law and US Department of Justice guidelines for work on a military installation.
