Our mission is to create sustainable adhesive solutions that improve the work, products, and lives of our customers - we're passionate about making a difference!tesa is looking to add a Product Developer - Chemist (EV Battery) to our team!  An electric vehicle (EV) battery must hold a large amount of energy to ensure consumers can drive as fast and as far as they need. However, storing this amount of energy in such a confined space comes with dielectric and thermal protection challenges. Our adhesive solutions can help optimize battery safety, performance, and capacity. We also consistently develop new products, in cooperation with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers, to accommodate changing requirements in the electric and hybrid vehicle market. We need you to help create these products!  What you'll do:  Innovative Conceptualization:Propel our product development efforts by conceiving groundbreaking automotive solutions that set new industry standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and generate innovative ideas that align with market demands and trends.Prototype Development:Drive ideas and transform concepts steering them seamlessly into the production phase and ultimately to our customer.Lead in transforming concepts into tangible prototypes.Drive prototyping efforts, demonstrating your technical prowess and commitment to turning visions into reality.Advanced Materials and Technologies:Research and integrate cutting-edge materials and technologies into automotive product designs.Explore new possibilities in lightweight materials, sustainable technologies, and next-generation automotive systems.Testing and Validation:Conduct testing and validation procedures to ensure the reliability, durability, and performance of developed automotive products.Collaborate with testing teams to analyze results and iterate designs for continuous improvement.Project Management:Lead projects with diverse teams, including design, engineering, and manufacturing, marketing, sales, customers to ensure seamless integration of products into production processes.Foster a collaborative environment where creative ideas flourish and contribute to the success of the overall product development lifecycle.Other duties as assigned.What you'll need: Master's degree in chemical science, natural sciences, or engineering. Technical knowledge regarding materials, formulations, processes, technologies, products and a basic understanding of their application and realization options.Ability to use calculator, computer and measuring tools.Project management experience.
