Qualifications and responsibilities for this Professional Planner position include:- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).- AICP Certification is required. NJ Planning Licensure (P.P) preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in urban planning or a related field.- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in GIS and other planning tools.- Lead land use planning projects, conducting research and analysis of zoning regulations and land development codes.- Manage planning projects, from preparing applications to coordinating with clients and stakeholders.- Facilitate community engagement, including public hearings and workshops.- Stay up to date with trends in urban planning to develop innovative planning strategies.- Cultivate relationships with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.Salary: $65,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
