Qualifications and responsibilities for this Foundry Maintenance Mechanic position include:- Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining heavy equipment in a foundry or industrial environment.- Strong mechanical knowledge, especially with compressors, large conveyors, HVAC systems, and sand-casting equipment.- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repair large machinery used in metal casting processes.- Lead troubleshooting and repair efforts when equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime.- Rebuild and repair components offline to keep operations efficient.- Follow strict safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, during equipment installation, start-up, and shutdown.- Flexible to work an overnight shift (11 p.m.–7 a.m.) and occasional weekends.- Experience with heavy industrial machinery is a must, as this role involves working with high-heat and high-pressure equipment.Salary: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
