Qualifications and responsibilities for this City Engineer position include:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 4-10 years of experience analyzing technical data, designs, and specifications in engineering systems related to building construction.- At least 4 years of experience with systems relevant to local government operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.- P.E. licensure in Maryland is preferred or must be obtained within 1 year of employment- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit is required- Oversee design and construction management of major capital and city facility projects- Supervise a team of engineers and direct city survey and construction stakeout efforts- Manage stormwater, site grading permits, and ensure protection of city facilities and easements- Coordinate with federal, state, and municipal agencies for permitting and construction projects- Provide post-disaster assessments for city facilities, including beachesSalary: $100,000 - $128,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
