If you are a current State of Oregon employee, you must apply through your employee Workday profile. A day in the life:Work together with internal teams on software development that can improve a business process.Oversee system architecture, analysis and design and occasionally perform system coding.Manage the design and development of systems, including creating program narratives, charts, diagrams, record layouts, reports, screens and files.Troubleshoot reported system issues, identify root causes and propose solutions.Develop and recommend cost and time estimates and performance factors for accomplishing the alternatives.Create and deliver detailed database tables, plans and designs to internal partners for review.Coordinate and connect with contractors, other agencies, sections and ODOT partners in workflow evaluation and implementation.Ensure that the project team assesses the impacts of security configurations and compatibility concerns.Hybrid work options available. Work in an office environment a minimum of 8 times a year, but that may increase based on business needs.
