Qualifications and responsibilities for this Transportation Team Leader (Roadway Engineering) position include:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.- Professional Engineer (PE) license in IN required.- 10+ years of experience with transportation design projects, including roadway design and intersection projects.- Experience managing both people and projects, or a willingness to learn and grow into a management role.- Strong background in transportation project management, including scope, budgeting, and proposal development.- Ability to mentor and lead a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.- Knowledge of INDOT Design Manual, Project Development Process, permitting, and environmental requirements.- Familiarity with OpenRoads software preferred, but not required.- Capable of working alongside senior leadership to implement process improvements and drive project success.Salary: $51.00 - $64.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
