As a key part of the engineering department, you'll play an essential role in drafting and designing plans for innovative factory-built homes, ensuring they meet all regulatory standards. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Draftsman position include:- Associate's degree in Drafting or a related field preferred, or 5-10 years of relevant experience in the construction of modular or similar homes.- Proficiency in CAD software for drafting and design work.- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with employees, department managers, and senior leadership.- Ability to review and develop engineering plans that comply with regulatory codes and guidelines.- Create and maintain detailed design files for review by internal teams and external regulatory agencies.- Support new product development through comprehensive drafting and design work.- Ensure quality control over drafting operations and identify any defects or improvements needed in production.- Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, working onsite at our Fort Worth facility.Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
