Great opportunity for Environmental Engineer coordinate the Safey and Environmental programs for an expanding global chemical plant. The role ensures compliance with government regulations and company policies while promoting a safe working environment. Candidates must have experience in both safety and environmental compliance, with a focus on supporting the organization in meeting SHE objectives.   Responsibilities: --Develop, implement, and maintain SHE policies, procedures, and programs. --Oversee program management, including auditing, monitoring, reporting, and record keeping. --Provide technical guidance and support on SHE issues across the organization. --Coordinate and assist in training employees and contractors on SHE-related topics. --Conduct audits, inspections, and investigations, and recommend corrective actions.   Qualifications: --BS in Environmental Engineering, or a related field 5+ years in Safety/ Environmental experience in chemical manufacturing industry. --Strong understanding of SHE regulations and best practices, including: --Federal and state air, water, and waste regulations, RCRA, OSHA / PSM, NFPA, TSCA --Proven experience in SHE compliance within the manufacturing sector. --Familiarity with current regulatory requirements and chemical industry standards. --Ability to work now or in the future without sponsorship.
