Qualifications and responsibilities for this NICET Highway Inspector position include:- Must have NICET certification (Level 1-5); no degree required.- At least 1 year of relevant inspection experience.- Perform construction inspection on projects for the Garden State Parkway (GSP) or New Jersey Turnpike.- Oversee lane shifts, traffic detours, nightly lane closings, and concrete and asphalt repairs.- Inspect concrete and paving operations (ACI or SAT certifications required).- Conduct structural steel and substructure repairs.- Document inspections and ensure all work follows safety and quality standards.Salary: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
