Qualifications and responsibilities for this Journeyman HVAC Technician position include:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Significant experience as a full-time Journeyman HVAC, with completion of trade school certifications and apprenticeship.- Experience with Automated Control Systems (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, or Johnson Controls).- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.- Valid MI driver’s license with fewer than 6 points on driving record.- Install and repair HVAC components including air compressors, chillers, and cooling towers.- Utilize Energy Management Systems software for troubleshooting.- Direct contractors on campus projects and collaborate with other trades.- Maintain mechanical specifications and ensure facilities are clean and safe.- Work flexible hours and be on-call to support the 24/7 operation.Salary: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
