Qualifications and responsibilities for this Director of Engineering Services position include:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).- Professional Engineering (PE) license required.- At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with proven leadership experience being a plus.- Extensive knowledge in substation, transmission, and/or distribution infrastructure (expertise in all three is a plus).- Familiarity with NESC, IEEE, and ANSI standards.- Proficiency in engineering software like PLS-CADD, Neara, ESRI, Trimble, GIS, etc.- Build, lead, and manage the engineering department for projects related to substation, transmission, and distribution infrastructure.- Develop and implement engineering strategies and procedures aligned with company goals.- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency.- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for multiple projects.Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
