Qualifications and responsibilities for this Architect position include:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited institution (required).- At least 4 years of post-college experience working on commercial projects valued around $10 million.- Licensure as an Architect, or the ability to obtain licensure (preferred).- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Suite, MS Office, and Procore.- Strong understanding of building codes and ability to address comments from AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) plan reviewers.- Take ownership of project design and develop full construction documents.- Work collaboratively with clients, drafting support, and consultants to achieve project goals.- Produce preliminary renderings and sketches for pre-construction presentations.- Travel locally to client locations and job sites as needed, with occasional overnight stays.- Act as a Project Architect while also being hands-on with drafting tasks.Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
