This is a unique role within the Utility Operations group, working alongside seasoned Senior Electrical Engineers to oversee complex electrical utility systems across a beautiful and diverse campus. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Engineer position include:- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering design or electrical service contracting (10 years preferred).- EIT licensure strongly preferred; PE preferred but not required.- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn additional software like Schneider PowerLogic and ESRI ArcPro GIS.- Oversee and maintain campus-wide electrical utility systems, supporting central plants and buildings.- Assist with energy reduction initiatives to achieve campus sustainability goals.- Provide technical oversight and support for the Power Plant and Utility Zone operations.- Contribute to planning and implementing electrical utility expansions aligned with campus growth.- Develop replacement strategies for aging mechanical systems to enhance reliability and efficiency.- Provide occasional technical assistance during planned outages and emergencies.Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
