This position acts as the Environmental Inspector for the SR 509 Stage 1b and stage 2 projects, responsible for assisting in the oversight of Design Build and Design Bid Build project activities. This position will also assist in the direct inspection of construction projects and assure compliance with contract plans and specifications including environmental permits and commitments under the supervision of the Environmental Compliance Manager. The Environmental Engineer will prepare field reports and take and file project photos documenting construction work and issues. This position meets the organizations mission by providing Quality Verification Oversight of project specific environmental permits, commitments, plans, and specifications.
