We believe we are here to provide opportunities that our employees and customers haven’t yet seen for themselves. Please check us out to see if we might be what you are looking for next in your career! Why Bachmann Industries might be right for you: You’re excited about the chance to engineer solutions that matter, working on high-impact projects that drive the future of energy, industrial processes, and more.You want to be part of a dynamic team that encourages you to bring your best ideas forward and supports your growth every step of the way.You thrive on solving complex challenges and love the thrill of seeing your designs come to life in the real world.  What You’ll Do: Design equipment that meets and exceeds customer expectations, from initial concept to final shipment.Create parametric models based on existing 2D and 3D designs, transforming technical specs into real-world solutions.Perform detailed Mechanical Engineering calculations to ensure component and assembly suitability.Coordinate with designers and drafters to ensure that project designs are completed efficiently and on schedule.Interface with customers to ensure design specifications are met and any adjustments are handled seamlessly.Promote continuous improvement in design practices, contributing to the evolution of our engineering standards.Collaborate with internal teams, including Warranty, Quality, and Project Management, as well as external vendors and fabricators.Oversee design packages, ensuring accuracy and quality before final release.What You Bring to the Table: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in designing medium to large metal structures.4-8 years of engineering experience, ideally within the power generation or industrial sectors.Advanced skills in parametric modeling using Inventor or SolidWorks, along with a strong understanding of AutoCAD.An ability to translate complex technical and commercial specifications into physical designs that are efficient and effective.A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills – you enjoy working as part of a team and solving problems together.A hands-on approach to design and problem-solving, with a knack for managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.A willingness to travel internationally to support projects wherever they take you.Why You’ll Love Working Here: Bachmann is more than just a company – we’re a community of passionate professionals who are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of engineering.You’ll have the opportunity to travel the world, working on diverse and exciting projects that allow you to experience new cultures and expand your skills.We invest in our people.
