Qualifications and responsibilities for this Plumbing/Fire Protection Designer position include:- Proficiency in designing domestic water, sanitary, storm water, medical gas, fuel gas, and water-based fire protection systems, as well as clean agent systems.- Familiarity with IPC, NSPC, UPC, and NFPA codes and standards.- Preferred credentials: AS, BS, or BAE in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, technical school certificate, or ASPE plumbing school certificate.- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT software.- CPD certification, EIT, recent PE registration, or LEED/green building experience are advantageous but not mandatory.- Engagement in design tasks ranging from independent work to collaborating on complex projects.- Desire for professional advancement within the company.Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
