Job Summary: The Civil Professional Engineer position completes Land Development design and site permitting projects by preparing engineering design and documents in accordance with client, municipal development and state and federal requirements. Job Pay: $70,000.00 - $125,000.00 pending experience.Education/Skills/Qualifications: Passed F.E. exam; B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. 1-5 years of experience on similar engineering and design projects or internships. Compensation will be based upon experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD is desired however will train the ideal candidate to enhance skills. Preference to candidate with stormwater modeling experience. Must have a valid driver's license. Candidates must display excellent communication skills and strong customer facing personality in order to effectively work with clients and team members. Candidates must also display strong organizational skills. Job Responsibilities: Plans, designs, and prepares land development documents for all types of land development projects with site plans, grading plans, street profiles, sanitary and storm water designs, and erosion & sediment pollution control plans. Prepares engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans, and schedules. Stormwater, water and sanitary sewer modeling is included but can be taught. Attend meetings and provide engineering information by answering questions and requests. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements reviewing land development code requirements, comprehensive plans, and advising project team on needed actions. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
