Qualifications and responsibilities for this Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) position include:- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field; must have a valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Alabama.- Minimum of 4 years in land surveying, with expertise in boundary and topographic surveys.- Proficiency with GPS, Total Stations, CAD software, and other relevant surveying tools.- Perform field surveys for property boundaries, topography, and elevation with precise data collection.- Resolve discrepancies through research on legal descriptions and boundary data.- Provide accurate site layouts to ensure correct positioning for construction projects.- Ensure all survey activities meet regulatory standards and produce clear, compliant reports.- Calibrate and maintain surveying equipment for optimal reliability and precision.Salary: $80,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
