An established consulting firm is currently seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer (PE) to support high-impact government infrastructure projects in the Pacific Northwest. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer (PE) position include:- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.- Professional Registration as a Licensed Structural Engineer (current U.S. licensure required).- Minimum 5 Years’ Experience as a Licensed Structural Engineer with expertise in both new and existing building design.- Knowledge of Codes and Guidelines such as ICC codes, Life Safety Code, ABA Guidelines, and Energy/Sustainability Design Regulations.- Technical Competence in Design & Documentation for Construction Documents, including drawings, specifications, and interdisciplinary coordination.- Proficiency in Software Tools like AutoCAD, SAP2000, RISA-3D, Retain Pro, and Microsoft Office applications.- Experience in Construction Management and Cost-Estimating for government-relevant projects.- Strong Communication Skills to deliver high-level briefings to senior leadership.- Eligibility for Federal Security Clearance and authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.Salary: $160,000 - $230,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
