Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) position include:- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required, with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering- 10+ years of experience in a consulting engineering environment, proficient in HVAC and plumbing systems- Expertise in performing heat gain calculations using Trane Trace, HAP, and Elite load calculation software- Skilled in sizing and selecting HVAC equipment, ductwork, and piping systems, with ability to mentor others- Experience in construction observation, reviewing submittals, and responding to RFIs- Familiar with AutoCAD and Revit for creating mechanical system layouts- Ability to meet project deadlines, perform psychrometric analyses, and conduct air balancing studies- Knowledge of ASHRAE, Florida Energy Code, NFPA, and latest trends in mechanical utilitiesSalary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
