Qualifications and responsibilities for this Solar Construction Estimator position include:- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, or 5+ years of relevant experience.- 4+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction estimating, with expertise in solar or telecommunications preferred.- Develop accurate scopes of work and comprehensive estimates for solar projects ranging from 1MW to 50MW.- Utilize estimating software such as ProEst to create bids and maintain detailed project records.- Evaluate and incorporate factors like prevailing wages, sales tax, and insurance into estimates.- Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to provide complete and competitive bid packages.- Review historical project data and lessons learned to refine estimating models.- Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus an annual bonus.
