A leading aerospace manufacturer located in Savannah, GA, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their dynamic team. You'll have the chance to work hands-on with Haas horizontal lathes and multi-axis mills in a modern, production-focused facility. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machinist position include:- 2+ years of hands-on machining experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing, or equivalent education.- Proficiency in setting up, operating, and maintaining Haas horizontal lathes and multi-axis CNC mills.- Ability to interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.- Experience with industrial lasers for drilling, cutting, and welding; knowledge of ANSI Z136.1 is a plus.- Skilled in using precise measuring tools and adjusting parts to meet close tolerance requirements.- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and preventive maintenance procedures.- Capable of performing manual adjustments, deburring, and hand-finishing metal fabrications.Salary: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
