Qualifications and responsibilities for this Vice President of Engineering position include:- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Civil preferred) with a Professional Engineer (PE) license required and the ability to stamp projects.- 10+ years of engineering leadership experience, with a strong focus on utility-scale solar projects and expertise in electrical and civil engineering.- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, fostering innovation and accountability.- Act as the technical authority, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.- Stamp and oversee project designs, including solar PV system layouts and site grading plans.- Manage project lifecycles from feasibility through construction, maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality targets.- Develop and manage the engineering department budget and resources efficiently.- Build vendor and partner relationships to optimize costs and project outcomes.- Conduct risk management to ensure safety and reliability in all phases of projects.- 10 – 20% travel to visit project sites and meet with clients.Salary: $200,000 - $225,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus an annual performance bonus.
