Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced QPP MIPS Consultant to join our team and help healthcare providers navigate the complexities of the Quality Payment Program (QPP) and Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). The ideal candidate will have a solid background in medical practice operations, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement. This role requires exceptional communication, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of healthcare quality metrics Mips Consultant.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance to healthcare providers on QPP and MIPS compliance.Conduct gap analyses to assess current practice performance against MIPS requirements.Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to optimize MIPS scores.Train healthcare staff on data collection, reporting processes, and performance improvement initiatives.Use healthcare data analytics tools to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Manage the submission of MIPS data to CMS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Stay updated on policy changes and communicate updates to clients.Develop tailored action plans for practices to meet or exceed performance thresholds.Support clients in addressing MIPS-related audits or penalties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field (Master’s preferred).3+ years of experience in medical billing, compliance, or quality reporting.Strong knowledge of CMS guidelines, QPP, and MIPS reporting requirements.Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and healthcare data tools.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Analytical mindset with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in medical billing, coding, or healthcare compliance (e.g., CPC, CHC).Experience working with multi-specialty practices or healthcare organizations.Familiarity with advanced analytics tools for performance tracking and reporting.Ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines efficiently.
