Qualifications and responsibilities for this Chief Engineer position include:- A valid First-Class Stationary Engineer License is required.- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Chief Engineer in a full-service hotel environment.- Expertise in HVAC and boiler systems with strong knowledge of building automation systems.- Oversee daily operations of HVAC, boiler, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.- Lead and mentor an Engineering Supervisor and a team of seven technicians.- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all hotel systems and equipment.- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including fire safety and building codes.- Manage vendor relationships, coordinate inspections, and oversee budgetary responsibilities for the department.Salary: Starting at $90,000+ per year, commensurate with experience.
