Job Summary:The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of skilled technicians and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of cement plant equipment. This role requires a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of cement manufacturing processes, equipment, and best practices in maintenance and safety. Key Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and supervise all maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.Oversee the repair, inspection, and servicing of cement plant equipment, such as kilns, conveyors, crushers, mills, and bagging systems.Monitor equipment performance to identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime.Develop and enforce maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.Coordinate with operations and engineering teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize production disruptions.Manage spare parts inventory, tools, and equipment to support maintenance activities.Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance technical skills and ensure adherence to best practices.Conduct root cause analyses for equipment failures and implement corrective measures.Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost efficiency.Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including reports, logs, and work orders. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.Strong knowledge of cement plant machinery and equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.Proficiency in using maintenance management software (CMMS) and diagnostic tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including exposure to heat, dust, and noise.Capable of climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
