Job Summary:The Air Compressor Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air compressor systems, ensuring their optimal functionality and reliability. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on air compressor systems, including rotary screw, reciprocating, and centrifugal compressors.Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.Conduct routine preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.Replace, repair, or adjust components such as motors, filters, belts, and valves.Test system performance using diagnostic tools and interpret results to ensure optimal functionality.Provide technical support and training to customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance.Maintain accurate service records and reports for all work performed.Ensure compliance with all safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.Collaborate with team members and management to improve processes and service quality. Qualifications: Strong knowledge of air compressor systems, including rotary screw and reciprocating compressors.Familiarity with pneumatic systems, controls, and electrical components.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to client locations as needed. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights.Comfortable working in noisy, dusty, or hot conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
