Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electronics/Fiber Optic Production Test Technician position include:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electro-optic design technology or equivalent.- Certified Production Technician (CPT) preferred but not required.- Proficient in soldering techniques, including surface mount and plated through-hole soldering to IPC standards.- Hands-on experience with electrical and optical test equipment (e.g., optical power meters, oscilloscopes).- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel; ERP systems (SAGE, NAV, Sugar) training available.- Assemble, test, and calibrate electronic and optical products to quality standards.- Troubleshoot and repair optical test instruments and replace faulty components.- Program PCB assemblies and perform final quality checks.- Repair and calibrate customer equipment while supporting new product development.- Collaborate with engineering to enhance product design and performance.- Maintain compliance with ESD and Quality Management Systems.Salary: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
