Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electronics Repair & Calibration Technician position include:- Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in the repair and calibration of electronic equipment/instruments.- Certified Production Technician (CPT) preferred; soldering certification (IPC-A-610 or equivalent) required.- Proficiency with circuit schematics, troubleshooting methods, and test equipment such as oscilloscopes and DMMs.- Experience with optical and fiber optic technologies, including fusion splicing.- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and ERP or RMA systems (training available).- Perform calibration and repairs of electronic and fiber optic test equipment, including fiber optic fusion splicing tools.- Diagnose faults and repair components at a surface-mount and conventional PCB level.- Maintain accurate service documentation, including RMA records, reports, and certificates.- Coordinate with production for repairs, ensure SLA compliance, and manage spare parts inventory.- Provide service quotes, invoices, and shipping documentation for customers.- Monitor and ensure calibration compliance for testing equipment.- Continuously improve departmental processes and maintain quality standards.Salary: $25.00 - $28.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
