Lead Electrical Engineer – (Buildings plus)My client’s electrical team is looking for a Lead, someone responsible for managing projects of various scopes, and developing solutions tailored to the customer. Overseeing the design, inspection and implementation of electrical systems for projects such as office, commercial, industrial, municipal, sports and recreational facilities, as well as government buildings.  Education: Electrical Engineering degreeResponsibilities:Contribute to the development of the electrical engineering group's technical expertise Analyze and solve complex problems, identify appropriate work methods and guidelines, and coordinate project completion  Maintain professional relationships with clients, key contacts in the industryAssist in the supervision and management of electrical engineering team members Evaluate technical work, delegate responsibilities and provide instructions. Make recommendations regarding the selection of new employees in the recruitment process, training, performance evaluation and compensation management  Prepare and reply to proposals in collaboration with the team assigned to this taskRequirements: 8+ years of experience in the electrical engineering buildings sectorA registered P.Eng. with EGBC, or ability toSelf-motivation and strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)  Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Demonstrate a commitment to client service that is second to none.Experience in managing teams of professional engineers (an asset)   Knowledge and experience in the consulting engineering market and with clients in Vancouver and surrounding area (an asset)  This position is located in Vancouver, BC Canada. Please submit resumes to jobs.networkrecruiting.ca in word format.
