Job Description:
Lead the design direction and oversee project workflows for Department of Transport and Roadway projects. In this dynamic role, you’ll shape project scopes, schedules, and budgets for new endeavors, all while mentoring a team of emerging engineers and CAD designers.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive project objectives and collaborate across departments and with sub-consultants to ensure seamless execution of all project elements.Assist in preparing submissions for both local and state projects, expanding our project portfolio.Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and plans across multiple projects, keeping schedules on track and priorities clear.Engage with clients to assess project needs and provide strategic recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, plus a minimum of six years of experience (two in Project Management).Indiana PE license or eligibility within six months.Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D, with a solid understanding of the Department of Transportation design process.Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to balance diverse project tasks and maintain clear client and team interactions.
