Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing civil engineering projects from initiation to completion. This role involves working closely with project managers, design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including transportation, utilities, water management, and infrastructure development.Budget and Scheduling: Help develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation. Monitor progress and adjust schedules and plans as needed to stay on track.Design Review: Work with senior engineers to review and ensure the quality of design and technical drawings, ensuring they meet client specifications, industry standards, and regulations.Site Management: Oversee on-site project activities, ensuring that construction is proceeding according to plan and that all safety measures are being followed.Communication: Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, architects, and local authorities, ensuring timely updates and problem resolution.Quality Control: Monitor and ensure that work is completed in accordance with quality standards, codes, and safety regulations.Problem-Solving: Address any technical challenges or design issues that arise during the project, recommending and implementing solutions in collaboration with the team.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, cost estimates, change orders, and any other relevant documentation for compliance and future reference. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Proven experience in project engineering or construction management.Proficiency with engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, etc.).Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, materials, and construction practices.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to construction projects.Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
