Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Engineer Designer position include:- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred; interest in pursuing PE licensing a plus.- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Adobe, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office products.- Experience designing and drafting civil engineering plans, including public drawings and on-site drawings, with supporting calculations.- Familiarity with TR-55, TR-20, and HEC-RAS for hydraulic computations.- Ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, and jurisdictional representatives to ensure compliance with design standards and project goals.- Experience with land development projects, including small subdivisions, multifamily, commercial additions, and parcel lot design.- Willingness to learn new skills, accept constructive criticism, and assist other departments when needed.Salary: $55,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
