Research Analyst (TE3)Olympia, WA – Headquarters   Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 to fill a Research Analyst vacancy located in Olympia, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for independently developing datasets for analysis and conducting research and data analysis in support of multimodal safety and other transportation design policy development. The data analysis typically relates to safety performance, design performance, and data collection for asset management of roadside traffic barriers, and active transportation facilities. This position will address questions as part of a team that directly supports project and program development through data analysis related to design performance and that is responsible for the asset management of roadside traffic barriers and active transportation facilities. This position supports a data-driven approach to project design policy development that ensures more effective scoping, project development, and delivery.
