Qualifications and responsibilities for this Water Resources Engineer position include:- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.- Minimum of 2 years of water resources engineering experience, including design, modeling, and analysis.- EIT certification required, with PE licensure or the ability to obtain it preferred.- Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D), and GIS platforms; HEC-RAS modeling experience is a bonus.- Experience with state and federal permitting processes is advantageous.- Design and analyze engineering projects, including flood and stormwater control, permitting, and plan development.- Conduct field inspections to ensure adherence to project designs and quality standards.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers and environmental scientists.- Assist with client management, proposal preparation, and development of new business opportunities.Salary: $80,000 - $175,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
