Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil CAD Technician position include:- Minimum of 2+ years of experience preparing site plans and engineering drawings for commercial/retail buildings (ideally 3–5 years).- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Sketchup is required; experience with CorelDRAW 2020, Google Earth Pro, and Nearmap is preferred.- Associate degree or 2-year technical degree preferred.- Create site layouts, architectural plans, and presentation materials that comply with zoning regulations and building constraints.- Ensure designs align with municipal codes, optimize site usage, and address permitting and compliance requirements.- Conduct field visits, provide dimension control plans, and address construction-related challenges, including surveying and environmental issues.Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
