Local Programs Transportation Engineer (TE4)Spokane, WA – Eastern Region$82,512 – $110,940 Annually  Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced transportation engineer who has strong leadership skills and an exceptional aptitude for managing projects. Working as a Transportation Engineer 4 in the Eastern Region Local Programs Office, the selected candidate will be responsible for the coordination and review of transportation funding, improvements, and operations in approximately 50 municipalities, Regional Transportation Planning Organizations (RTPO's), tribal nations, port districts, and other agencies within the Eastern Region. The appointee of this position will use independent decision making and problem-solving skills to provide direction, guidance, and support to various agencies during preliminary engineering, design, right-of-way, and construction of transportation improvement projects.
